ELECTRONICS & SEMICONDUCTORS

Air Filtration for Semiconductor Manufacturing

Particle filter configurations for semiconductor facilities, cleanroom air systems and compatible local equipment. Begin with the project specification and the installation interface for each filter position.

SPACES & EQUIPMENT

Review each filtration position.

Make-up and recirculation air

Match prefilters and medium-efficiency filters to the specified air-handling stages, airflow and installation space.

Cleanroom ceiling filters

Select the stated HEPA or ULPA grade, frame, dimensions and sealing arrangement required by the facility design.

FFU filter elements

Review mini-pleat or gel-seal elements against the existing fan filter unit interface. This page covers replacement or matched filter elements.

Local equipment and precision electronics

Provide the equipment specification for local enclosures or precision electronics and optical assembly areas. Material requirements should be identified separately from particle grade.

SELECTION CONSIDERATIONS

Start with the equipment specification.

01

Filtration requirement

Identify the required grade and test standard, the existing filter arrangement and the incoming-air conditions.

02

Fit and airflow

Check actual width, height and depth, sealing, operating airflow and the pressure limits of the equipment.

03

Maintenance

Review removal clearance, filter condition and pressure-drop trends. Follow the equipment and filter replacement instructions.

REPLACEMENT & MAINTENANCE

Prepare your filter enquiry.

Send the existing filter label, photographs and measurements together with the equipment requirements.

Include the specified frame material, gasket or gel-seal interface and any equipment-specific material requirements.

  • Equipment model and existing filter reference
  • Actual width × height × depth and sealing details
  • Required grade, test standard and operating airflow
  • Temperature, moisture conditions and permitted pressure drop
  • Required quantities and delivery destination
COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you select a replacement.

Does selecting a filter grade establish the cleanroom classification?

No. Filter grade describes filter performance. Room classification depends on the facility design, installation and operation as a whole.

Do you supply complete FFUs through this range?

This range covers filter elements for compatible FFU installations. Supply described here does not include the fan, controls or complete unit.

How often should these filters be replaced?

Use equipment instructions, filter condition and pressure-drop readings where available. Replacement intervals vary with operating hours and particle loading.

Can you review a non-standard filter size?

Send the required dimensions, construction and equipment details. Available configurations and supply requirements can then be confirmed.
