Air Filtration for Data Centers
Particle filtration for server rooms, outdoor-air units and computer room air-handling equipment. Select replacements around the facility specification, cooling airflow and available fan pressure.

Match filters to the cooling-air system.
Server rooms
Review the particle-control requirements for air supplied to the equipment space and the sources entering from outdoor air and routine activity.
Outdoor-air units
Select the prefilter and subsequent particle filtration stage against the unit specification and local intake conditions.
Recirculation equipment
Confirm the existing filter reference, installation depth and pressure limits of computer room air-handling units.
Service continuity
Plan replacement access and quantities around facility procedures, and inspect filter condition and sealing during maintenance.
Start with the equipment specification.
Filtration requirement
Identify the required grade and test standard, the existing filter arrangement and the incoming-air conditions.
Fit and airflow
Check actual width, height and depth, sealing, operating airflow and the pressure limits of the equipment.
Maintenance
Review removal clearance, filter condition and pressure-drop trends. Follow the equipment and filter replacement instructions.

Before you select a replacement.
Should every data centre use HEPA filtration?
Select the filtration level specified for the facility and cooling equipment. HEPA is not a default requirement for every server room or air-handling unit.
How often should these filters be replaced?
Use equipment instructions, filter condition and pressure-drop readings where available. Replacement intervals vary with operating hours and particle loading.
Can you review a non-standard filter size?
Send the required dimensions, construction and equipment details. Available configurations and supply requirements can then be confirmed.
Let’s review your requirements.
Share your current filter details and required quantities to discuss the appropriate configuration.
