Prefiltration for compatible air systems
Air-handling units
Coarse prefiltration in compatible industrial and commercial air-handling units, selected to match the required grade, flow and environmental limits.
Modular filter banks
Five listed face sizes support different installation openings. Confirm module orientation and seal all joins and corners to limit bypass.
Return air & equipment intakes
Review dust type, mounting space and operating requirements before replacement. Outdoor installations need appropriate rain protection and drainage.
Fit correctly. Monitor in service.
Before installation
Confirm dimensions, frame and media integrity, and required airflow direction. Avoid pressure from cables or sharp components against the glass fibre medium.
Seat & secure
Check continuous contact with the mounting frame and secure the filter as required. Inspect corners and joins for bypass gaps.
Track condition
Compare pressure drop at a consistent airflow. Inspect for damage, bypass and moisture-related instability. Keep within the listed temperature and humidity limits.
Follow system limits
Replace the filter according to pressure-drop monitoring and equipment maintenance requirements.
Product questions, answered.
Which models are G3 and which are G4?
The model table lists G3 for 24 mm depth and G4 for 45 and 95 mm depths. Confirm the selected model and required test standard when ordering.
Is the cardboard frame waterproof?
The specified frame is moisture-resistant cardboard, not a rain barrier. Maximum relative humidity is listed as 70%. Condensation or liquid exposure requires a suitability review.
Can this filter be washed?
The supplied documentation does not establish washability. This page treats the filter as a replacement product, not a washable filter.
Does a 95 mm filter always last longer?
No service-life guarantee is stated. The listed media area is larger, but service life also depends on dust loading and operating conditions. The table also lists higher resistance for the 95 mm models.
Can I order a metal frame?
A metal frame is listed as an option. Specify the required material, dimensions and mounting arrangement so the frame specification can be confirmed.
When should I replace the filter?
Monitor pressure drop at a consistent airflow and inspect the frame, media and seals. The listed final pressure drop is 250 Pa; equipment limits, damage or inadequate airflow may require replacement earlier.
