Two quotations can use the same product description while covering different configurations. Before comparing prices, make sure both offers answer the same requirement. A short comparison sheet helps separate specification differences from commercial differences.
Put the required configuration in writing
List the product type, width, height, depth, grade, frame and seal. Include units and quantities. If the request covers several sizes, give each one a separate line rather than a combined description.
Our CINRIWA filter selection guide can help identify the product family. Use the relevant product page to narrow the configuration before asking for a quotation.
Compare data under matching conditions
Check the airflow associated with any pressure-drop figure and confirm that the value refers to the quoted size. A figure from another configuration is not a direct comparison. Keep classification standards visible rather than comparing grade labels alone.
If one offer includes a parameter and another does not, ask for clarification. Missing data should not be interpreted as either better or worse performance.
Check what is included
Review seals, protective grids, handles and other specified accessories. Confirm whether the price covers a finished filter, a replacement element or media only. These distinctions are particularly important when product names are used loosely.
For custom work, attach the agreed drawing or revision reference. Record any proposed alternative separately so that it is not mistaken for an exact match.
Separate purchase price from operating assumptions
Where reliable maintenance records are available, consider replacement effort and stock requirements alongside purchase price. Treat projected operating savings as something that needs supporting conditions and data. A lower quoted resistance alone is not enough to calculate a guaranteed saving for the whole installation.
Align the delivery scope
Confirm quantity, packaging, delivery destination and the quoted delivery arrangement. Review freight and other listed charges separately, and check the validity period of the offer. This avoids comparing an item-only price with an offer covering a wider scope.
When requesting a CINRIWA quotation, send the specification, quantity and destination together. Include the existing model or drawings where available and make any acceptable alternatives explicit. A consistent request leads to a much clearer purchasing decision.
